How to Get Involved |
Praise and Worship| Worship Team| How to Get Involved| Application
Most people cringe at the word "audition", although auditions can be very helpful and fun-yeah-fun! During the audition process, every effort will be made to lessen the intimidation factor and focus on discerning where God wants to use you, your gifts, and your talents. If the Praise and Worship Ministry is a high and holy calling, then there should be some prayerful consideration given to who should be involved. Psalm 66 states, "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord," and this is meant for every believer. But when someone desires to lead others in worship and stand before the Body, then additional scriptures should be included such as, "To whom much is given, much will be required."(Luke 12:48) and "Sing to Him a new song, play skillfully with a shout of joy." (Psalm 33:3)

The Invitation
Within two weeks after your audition and personal interview, Pastor Galen may invite you to become a member of the team and ask you to make a one-year commitment. During those 2 weeks you are encouraged to attend rehearsals to get an idea of what is involved and discuss any areas of concern. The final decision to accept the invitation will be yours.
